Brainy Books is a New York–based children’s book publisher dedicated to creating engaging, developmentally aligned books for infants and children up to six years old.
Our thoughtfully designed titles focus on key areas of early childhood development, including early literacy skills, cognitive growth, self-care and independence, social-emotional learning, and general knowledge, and kindergarten readiness.
Each book is crafted with care and backed by research to provide age-appropriate learning experiences that nurture growth, spark curiosity, and help every child reach their fullest potential.
Brainy Books was founded by Hanna Park, who holds a B.A. in Psychology from Columbia University and an M.A. in Cognitive Science in Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. She studied how learners perceive, process, and store information through cognitive mechanisms, and designed effective learning curricula grounded in these principles.
As a psychology researcher, she explored parenting styles, children’s language acquisition, and overall development, gaining a deep understanding of how children learn and grow. These academic foundations and research experiences became the cornerstone of Brainy Books’ educational philosophy—creating books that help children learn with joy, think independently, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
A lifelong book enthusiast, Hanna’s passion for reading led her to closely observe how her own children responded to books. Through her multicultural and cross-cultural experiences, she realized the importance of connecting structured learning with curiosity.
Building on her academic expertise and real-world understanding, Hanna founded Brainy Books to create thoughtfully designed books that support early learning and nurture the essential skills children need to thrive.
